'Mowgli's Rainy Day' by Brittany Rubiano and Mingjue Helen Chen

Have you ever felt like Whole Foods just gets you? I have on many different occasions (guys, they have a self serve Epsom salt bar!). Today was no different with this awesome book find!

Many people have told me how much my son reminds them of Mowgli, but he is too young to see the new Disney's The Jungle Book . So when we passed this book while grocery shopping, I just couldn't resist. And I'm so glad I didn't... "Mowgli's Rainy Day" by Brittany Rubiano, illustrated by Mingjue Helen Chen highlights how lucky we are to have friends and family with different views, strengths, and lessons loving us in their own unique way.

This beautifully illustrated picture book tells the story of Mowgli and two of his many friends who have helped raise him in the jungle: Bagheera, the wise Panther, and Baloo, the fun-loving bear. When heavy rain sets in, Bagheera wants Mowgli to take shelter while Baloo thinks he should dance in the rain. What do you think Mowgli decides to do?
