This is the book my two year old son picked at the store for Valentine's Day this year, and it's perfect.
"Dinosaur Kisses" by David Ezra Stein is about a baby dinosaur who is learning new things. She sees a kiss and wants to try it. Instead she stomps, whomps, and chomps. She goes back to her egg in time to see a little baby brother or sister Dino hatching and the two try out a kiss one more time... they end up whomping, stomping, and chomping together until they are a ball of giggles on the floor. Sibling love at its finest. The dinos show us learning new things can be challenging and funny!
It's a sweet, fun book that is perfect for at home or group story times that will get young kids involved in the actions!
