The rhymes, repetition, and rhythms throughout 'Groovy Joe: Ice Cream & Dinosaurs' by Eric Litwin make it perfect for holding toddler attention spans. The eye catching, colorful illustrations by Tom Lichtenheld are a great match for this lighthearted, fun story. In the three days we've had this book we've probably read it three dozen times and now I can't stop humming this catchy tune. Groovy Joe is so happy to have a tub of ice cream all to himself that he makes up a song about it. This draws in three dinosaurs, armed with spoons! Groovy Joe doesn't lose his cool though, because it's awesome to share! The book includes free downloadable songs. A great message told through some of our favorite things: a dog, dinosaurs, ice cream, and music! A really fun read.
